Hello Folks,

Sharing experience of exercising my franchise for Delhi’s election held today.
I reached polling booth around 5:15 PM, the security personal at the
polling booth venue gate, immediately offered assistance to me. I was
accompanied with my family members so I thanked him for his gesture
and preceded to the designated room number, where I had to exercise my
franchise.
On my request the Braille document with details of all candidates was
handed over to me and after reading the brail ballad paper and
completing the all required formalities I preceded to the EVM machine.
Proper brail marking was well observed around the buttons on the EVM
machine, which enabled me to independently cast my vote.
The location was quite accessible, barrier free, easily approachable
by wheelchair users.

Best Regards
Rahul Gambhir
