I have not visited irctc site but 1. does OTP work for booking as well? 2. I heard we can book only our and escort's ticket after giving card number and not the other non-concessional tickets in the same booking. This needs to be immediately rectified.

Our friend and the original applicant Mr. Bhawani Shankar Verma has updated today that IRCTC has now introduced 6 digits OTP being sent to user's mobile and the user has to type it on the desired field. Though the visual Captcha still exist, but, there is a checkbox where a user can opt for either captcha or OTP. The date field also made accessible now and the users can type the date on DD-MM-YYYY format. However, still the "from and to" station field is not accessible. After typing the station name, the list of stations appears, is not accessible with jaws or other screen readers. many graphics and buttons are not leveled with appropriate text. We would request you to please share your recent experiences of using the IRCTC website and let us know if there are still accessibility issues being faced by users with visual disabilities. The matter comes up for final hearing before the CCPD on 26th Feb 2015 and issues could still be addressed.
