Hi, Following Pranavlal Sir's advice, I'll do driver reinstallations after exams. These same headphones have worked fine on my mobile phone. If I get access to USB headphones or another pair of earphones or headphones, I'll try those on my laptop, otherwise, I'll work with the present situation of half plugged headphones.
