Hi, There is indeed a move to build self-driving vehicles but the technology is quite far away from coming to India. Driving a car is not easy. You need to detect where you are, what is the condition of the road, the position of vehicles with respect to you, account for erratic driver behavior, get the legal framework in place etc.
Self-driving cars do run in some parts of the USA but these are test models and the technology is not mainstream.
