Snehadeep trust, a leading NGO, commences free computer training course
for the persons with visually impaired.


About SNEHADEEP:

Snehadeep Trust for the Disabled is a non-profit and charitable organization
working towards the upliftment and betterment of the differently abled in
the areas of education, computer training and soft skills. It also spreads
its wings far and wide to include development of the girl child, and
education and empowerment of destitute  women in its agenda.

MISSION STATEMENT

To make the differently abled employable, thus bringing them to the main
stream and to help them lead a life with dignity and economic independence.

LEADING THE WAY

Snehadeep Trust for the Disabled was established by 3 visually impaired
graduates, with a strong will to educate the differently-abled and create
opportunities for them. The backbone of the organization is the buoyancy of
these three strong-minded men; Paul Muddha, K G Mohan & Shriman Narayan.
We are delighted to let you know that two of the trustees are the National
awardees for their social work.

So far Snehadeep is very successful in placing almost all the trained
candidates in
good jobs both in the government, banks  and private sectors.

Basic computer Training program
The trust aims to conduct a summer class for two months starting from April
first to 31St of May 2015 and then select students for a vigorous training
program for 9 months starting from June 2015.
Food and accommodation would be provided free of cost.

We aim to train the candidates in basic computers course material and teach
English.
Food and accommodation is provided free.
Only 15 candidates are provided the opportunity for this computer course.

Eligible candidates who have done their +2 or second P.U.C and degree can
apply for this course.
Our main focus areas is to provide Free computer training for the
visually impaired with English communication as one of the main focal area
along with soft skill and carrier guidance.
At the end of the training program, Snehadeep would place these candidates
in suitable jobs.
We would arrange for extra coaching classes for banks and
government exams.
This program helps The blind in their reading and education as well as
enables them in
Their employment and career opportunities.
The course  covers basic operations like working with files and
folders, creating and managing user accounts, CD burning , scanning
books on Windows 7 operating system. MS Office applications such
as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint. Configuring Outlook express,
carrying out frequently with E-mails and internet, with browsers such
> as Internet Explorer and Mozilla  fire fox etc.
> with screen readers such as JAWS15, and NVDA. English Communication
classes which includes employment training, career guidance, soft
skills, Counseling and  Personality Development.

Many eminent personalities in different fields in training and employment
would be involved in guiding and assisting the candidates during the
training program.
The ultimate aim of this course is to make

> Eligibility criteria: Higher Secondary (10+2)or degree.

Preference given to graduates
Age limit: 18 to 30
Number of seats: 15
Course fee: Rs1000 (refundable)
Last date of admissions: 20 March 2015.

2. No admissions will be entertain after 20Th of March 2015.
3. Hostel accommodation facility is available at Snehadeep trust
