hi all, today i got a chance to print my passbooks using barcode based
passbook printer machine, it was quite good experiance for me. as the
machine was capable to provide voice feedback about the transaction
status.
i would like to try to explain step by step process about how the
machine was providing the voice feedback to customers or users.
1: firstly i visited the home branch where the person put a barcode
sticker and the same was mapped with my account.
2: i was asked to visit the e-corner where the passbook printing was installed.
3: the sicurity gard assisted me to how to insert passbook in the slot provided.
4: asked to select the language and then it scanned the barcode which
was placed at the back cover of the passbook.
5: the machine was anownsing like this. "pease wait while barcode and
your passbook has been varified." "passbook printing" if more pages to
print, it will anounce like this "more pages to print please inser the
passbook" and after that the process goes on like above mentioned
dialog. when the printing finish it will anownce that the passbook
printing complete, thanks for visit.
over all, the machine was some how accessible, but it would be more
accessible if the physical button were there. over all, the machine is
quite accessible, capable to anownce in both english and hindi as
well. note only this, it has been confirmed that every machine is
equipt with IVR facility regardless of any discrimination.
