Hi You can request MTNL to replace the existing modem to a WIFI modem, there may be a small fee involved, but it is possible if you have taken the existing modem from them. Harish.

Probably this wire is called ethernet cable. But my concern is that I want to use this wired modem as a wifi also. So that the same internet connection would work as a wifi connection too and I could connect my mobile and laptop to it. . Yes its possible if I install wifi hotspot software in my laptop which I don't want to do. Therefore suggest me a wifi router which could be connected through ethernet cable and could repeat that landline modem into wifi connection. I hope I haven't confused you. Please reply with a solution or for more clarification. -- Mohib Anwar Rafay Phone: +919 555 555 765 / +9192 7879 0000 Register at the dedicated AccessIndia list for discussing accessibility of mobile phones / Tabs on: http://mail.accessindia.org.in/mailman/listinfo/mobile.accessindia_accessindia.org.in Search for old postings at: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ To unsubscribe send a message to [email protected] with the subject unsubscribe.
