 Sorry there is no ready made solution for such conversion.
I do not know in which font your friend do type.
Although I have made for Nepali but I can not do the same for Hindi.
Since different people type in different fonts, there must be
individual font converter tool.
Perhaps there is a tool for the font named Kruti available in net.
But I have no idea for the rest traditional Hindi Font texts.
The text in unicode is the ultimate solution.
Other wise, the barrier may continue....
