NVDA 2015.2 is now ut of development and testing phase and has been
officially released for your use!

This release features numerous major enhancements and feature
additions including meaningful reading and hierarchical navigation of
mathematical content using Math Player from Design in Word,
Powerpoint, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, sentence navigation
commands Alt + arrow keys for Word, ability to assign input gestures
(keyboard commands, touch gestures, etc.) for all NVDA preferences
dialogs and document formatting options using the Input Gestures
dialog, several Microsoft Excell support improvements like Elements
List dialog for Excel, reporting of cropped or overflowing content,
and, more importantly, support for reading charts, and several new
Braille tables for Indian languages. There were many other minor
changes and ugs squashed including revised and added keyboard
accelerators in NVDA Settings dialogs, colour reporting improvements,
MS HTML fixes, correct handling of character descriptions of certain
conjunct characters in Indian languages, a small Skype feature
accessible again,  and liblouis braille translator Updated to 2.6.2.
NVDA 2015.2 encompasses enhancements to all types of users, corporate
professionals now have access to the improved Microsoft Excel support,
students can take advantage of the mathematical content handling
enhancements, general users have many new features to look forward to,
Braille users have new Braille tables and an updated liblouis braille
translator and much more.
Joseph Lee, the creator of the Welcome to NVDA 2015 series, as well as
Whats New in NVDA series, continues his work in the form of an audio
tutorial at www.nvda-kr.org/en that gives you a tour of the new
functionalities in version 2015.2 of NVDA, a free and open source
screen reader for Microsoft Windows.
You can update to the latest version of NVDA, 2015.2 by going into
NVDA menu > Help submenu > Check for updates. You will be notified of
the availability of NVDA 2015.2 in the subsequently appearing update
check dialog, and, prompted to download it. Before initiating the
download, you will be asked to donate and you can donate or skip it
based on your wish. The download shall hence start and on download
completion, an installation prompt will be displayed. On issuing Ok,
installation will take place, and, NVDA will restart as well for the
new changes to take effect, during which, you can sit back. You now
have NVDA 2015.2 up and running on your computer.
