dear friends, i want to know how much amount will be deducted in the form of tax while transfering claim from saving account to another saving account. My father passed away on this month 2nd as he was having some amount in his saving account. As I want this amount to be transfered from his saving account to my mother's saving account. The bank manager is telling that some amount will be deducted in the form of tax as my mother is not having PAN card, but many of my friends told that no tax will be deducted while transfering claim from saving to saving account. please tell me regards, sazid
