hello, As you might know that Biometric time and attendance systems are getting adopted in today’s time in most of the industries in order to improve workforce productivity, efficiency and labor management worldwide. As a result, Many companies are adopting biometric time and attendance systems to achieve these goals. For this purpose, in our industry too, such kind of machine is installed. A biometric time attendance system is a biometric time clock that tracks employee attendance, including when they clock in, when they clock out, and if they showed up when they were scheduled to work at the touch of just one finger . once the finger is rightly scanned by this machine, it just only announces the status like thank you or in case of wrong or mismatched finger, it says please try again. So my question is how does any visually impaired person can get the clock information such as, on what time my attendance has been recorded? Since it already announces the status of my attendance, is it possible to have the clock announcement too by these machines? If yes, what should be the way out? Does it require the internal software customization that can be done by the persons managing the attendance through this machine? Or the separate machines are available to perform this enhanced functionality all together?
Kindly share your experiences of accessibility specific in marking your attendance through these automated biometric finger attendance machines as visually challenged employee. Looking forward for your views. -- Regards, Mukesh jain Email: [email protected] [email protected] Skype: mukeshjain211 Mob: 09977165123 "Face your deficiencies and acknowledge them; but do not let them master you.
