Akash Aath comes up with new Bengali TV serial, Aamader Choto Nadi based on a child who is differently-abled, owing to autism.
Payal Dutta and Priyam play the roles of Amrapali and Shrabon, little Nadis foster parents who adopt her after the death of her real mother, Ananya, played by Ankita Mazumder. The 5-year-old Nadi is played by Aarohi Dutta. The makers of the tele serial, at a recently held media interaction said, "Little Aarohi Dutta sat through the launch, smiling and playing a video game. She does not laugh, she makes other laugh. She does not cry, she makes others cry. She does not think, she makes others think. Let us stand together and treat the differently-abled with love and care, not with rejection and scare. " Amader Choto Nadi is aired from June 15 on Akash Aath. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/tv/news/bengali/Now-TV-series-on-the-differently-abled/articleshow/47783462.cms -- Avinash Shahi Doctoral student at Centre for Law and Governance JNU Register at the dedicated AccessIndia list for discussing accessibility of mobile phones / Tabs on: http://mail.accessindia.org.in/mailman/listinfo/mobile.accessindia_accessindia.org.in Search for old postings at: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ To unsubscribe send a message to [email protected] with the subject unsubscribe.
