DearAccessindia list members,
As you know all you that since from 6 months the ministry of social justice
empowerment is telling us the they are going to issue the universal ID card for
the disabled persons in which it is ment for all the purpuses in all the
states. If this is gets implemented by the central government by the ministry
of social justice it is very fine. But my question is that if this card is
universal for all the purpuses in all the states then why do we needed the
special Id card for the railways? do you not feel this is extra burden to our
disabled community? roming from this division to another division. This is all
confusing to the disabled persons. Indian railways sayssomething like railway
Id card for travelling and ministry of social justice says that they are going
to issue universal Id card for all the purpuses which is to be universal in all
the states. Hear my question is that when Ministry of social justice is
issueing Universal Id card for the disable persons which will be applicable
in all the states for all purpuses. Then why do we needed special Railway Id
card for disabled person for travelling? it is little confusing.
Therefore, i request have you any information regarding this? Please throw some
light on this.
I hope that our Accessindia list friends will throw some light on this.
