Hi all!

Wondering if some kind person can help me with a problem that I
currently have at the moment ? I need to develop a query that checks
to establish if there is more than one instance of the same site
code.

The site code is derived from two separate four digits combined to
give the site code. Box A would contain 3020 and box B would contain
a four digit number that exists in sequence for example 7010. Box A
+ B would then provide a site code of 30207010. There should never
be two site codes for the same area that are the same, so there
should never be two 30207010s but you can have a 30107010 or
31007010.

I have attempted to use Access to solve the problem using the
duplicate wizard but it failed to weed out a deliberate double entry
that I inserted to check the effectiveness. I also tried to use the
QBE screen and adding criteria of >1 but this has also failed.

Can anyone help me with this please ?

Rgds
