I have been asked to build a database and I have attempted to do just that, I have a single primary table called building and three secondary tables. The relationship between the tables are a 1 to many, that is to say the primary table has an instance of 1 and all of the secondary tables have multiple instances and are therefore classified as many.
I have attempted to enter data into the database and it keeps falling over, I have entered data into the primary table and it appears to be fine as I am not encountering any error messages here But! When I attempt to put data into the secondary table I am met with a "You can not add or change a record because a related record is required in table build" I have included primary and foreign keys throughout my table design, I just can not see where the error is can someone please help me with this.
