I'm using sql 2000 and Access 2003. I have a Maintnenace adp
database w/ tblMaintenance and 2 queries qryMaintEntry and
qryMaintDept.
I have 2 groups AllUsers and Maint. The people in the Maint group
are also part of the AllUsers.
There are no permissions set to the table. The qry MaintEntry has
AllUsers permissions set to Select, Insert and Update.
The qryMaintDept has Maint only permission set to Select, Insert,
Update and Delete.
The problem I'm having is everyone has full control over the entire
database. I've tried denying permissions to the AllUser in the
qryMaintDept but then the AllUsers are denied access to any part of
the database.
No matter what I do the AllUsers group either has full access or no
access.
Does anyone have any idea what I need to do so the AllUsers can
access the qryMaintEntry and not the qryMaintEntry?
Thank for the help,
Paul
