Is there a reliable way to permanently change the ODBC timeout default (60 secs)
for Access queries? I have searched the internet, and found the "registry
approach" solution from MS, but this simply does not seem to work for me. I do
not know why, but after I change the registry entries, the default ODBC timeout
for Access queries is still 60 seconds. I want to avoid a VBA solution, as this
would then require every new database to include the small module that would set
this programatically.

Am I doing something wrong with the registry hack?

Using Access 2003 with what I believe are all the latest Jet patches.
