Subject: How to find a program?

Hi all,

Some days ago, I was trying to download the file jmpdemo.exe from a
web server through www4mail, but unfortunatly, I couldn't (I suppose
because I miss something, because was necesary to fill some forms, and
maybe I did something wrong). BTW, I have only e-mail access to Inet.

I performed a search through Archie ([EMAIL PROTECTED])3 days
ago, trying to find an ftp server, but I didn't receive an answer, and
I think that recently I read in this list that Archie is defunct.
Also, I was trying to find a post to this list that said something
about a norweigian finder that looks like Archie, but no way, it seems
that I delete it.

So, if somebody is so kind to answer any of my questions, I will be
very happy.

1. Is there an ftp server where I cuold find the file jmpdemo.exe ?

2. Is [EMAIL PROTECTED] defunct? It so, is there any other
Archie server functioning OK?

3. Somebody knows the address of the server in Norwey that performs
files finding ?

TIA, and happy new year,

Jorge

Dear Mr Aghamollae and list,

In my opinion, the most easy way to get a uudecoding program, is to
send the following message:

   TO: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
   SUBJ: send uudecode.com
   BODY: {Leave blank}

Bob Rankin's unique service will send you a ready to run uudecoding
program.

I recommend you also send the following message:

   TO: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
   SUBJ: {Leave blank}
   BODY: {Leave Blank}

This will give you some other useful information on the internet via
e-mail.

Hope this will help.

Sincerely,
Frits Westra -- [EMAIL PROTECTED]

The only Archie by E-mail servers that answer are:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]                    Canada     OK
[EMAIL PROTECTED]                   UK         OK
[EMAIL PROTECTED] Korea 5 days to
answer
[EMAIL PROTECTED]               Germany    OK
[EMAIL PROTECTED]                  Austria    OK

The FTPsearch engine located in Norway has been absorbed by Lycos.
The new address is http://ftpsearch.lycos.com/

Hello AccMailers,
How can I set this list to receive every individual message rather than
receiving digests?
Best regards.

- Abdullah.
