Yep I used the scroll down arrow. Windows Messaging is the only one
listed.
How do I add in Outlook Express the scroll down?

Subject: SLiRP emulator
Accmailers,
SLiRP is a free TCP/IP emulator over the SLIP/PPP link-level
protocols which allows a normal user with a shell account on a UNIX
system to act like a real SLIP/PPP account.
I feel it would be prudent to mention that some ISP's do -not- allow the
use of SLiRP or other such SLIP/PPP emulators on their systems, in order to
prevent overuse/abuse of system resources. (My old university account, for
example) It would be a good idea to check your ISP's policy on acceptable
use to determine if it is appropriate.

For those of you who are, er, "e-mail_preferred" users, the site
http://www.emailfile.com/
provides a free service that allows one to input the URL of any file and
have it emailed to the address specified.
Limitations:
- Method=post... not for email-only users, unless you are hammering the
quotas so much that saving on the request count becomes important.
- Only ftp:// and http:// URLs supported.
- File sizes under 3MB only.
I wonder how long this one will last!

Hi!
You won't need the special software for it, if you download the best
e-mailer (in my opinion) - The Bat!
You'll be able to have an template for autoreply, forward, reply, compose
for each your recipient - another template for each action for each user!
Also you'll find many cool features in that e-mailer, I've never seen ever
similar ones in other e-mailers.

All the best!

This file is in Russian. This service is relative mainly to Relcom - quite
large network located in Russia. But this server can search for info resources
in whole world.

Netcom has a FAQ about use of SLIP/PP emulators. Excerpt:
"NETCOM does not support SLIP emulators, which means that we do not plan
to install any on our system, and NETCOM Technical Support will not
answer questions concerning their use. However, we do allow their use on
NETCOM systems under our standard Terms and Conditions regarding
system abuse, such as multiple logins and consuming excessive amounts
of memory, which can be found in faq 182. Our tests have shown that
they do not cause undue system loads under normal conditions."

Good question. I have been snooping in the registry and found where

Copy it to a floppy disk and place the floopy in a secure location. I
don't know of any programs that convert MDB files to executables but I
did find one that allows converting it to FoxPro and text.
GeneXus Database Converter
http://www.genexus.com/ftp/gxutl/convert/convert.exe
This utility is used to transfer data from Access databases (*.MDB
files) generated with Visual Basic 4.0 16-bit to FoxPro databases
(*.DBF files) or text files (*.TXT), and viceversa.
Note: In order to use this utility, the target database must already
exist (at least the structure
must be already created).
Found another program called MDB Maintenance Wizard.
MDB Maintenacne Wizard is a Windows 95 Style
Wizard that automates the routine compacting and
repairing of Microsoft Access Data Files
Please note that this version is written in Visual Basic Version 5.0.
There has been some
reported problems with running applications complied with VB 5.0 on
the same machine
as Office 95 and Visual Basic 4.0 applications. It seems that
Microsoft kept the same
names for common controls in the new version of Visual Basic as was
in the old version.
Please take precautions if your not sure if your running Office 95
and Visual Basic 4.0
Applications. MDB Maintenance Wizard 1.0 is written using Visual
Basic 4.0 and we
would suggest that version for our Office 95 and Visual Basic 4.0
users.

Without getting a little irritated at this suggestion, let me explain
why I probably won't do this.
I approve 20-25 postings a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. I took
over this list in October 1997 and have never missed a day of approvals
or moderation. I have to limit all time-off to a single 24-hr period.
I haven't had an extended vacation since 1992 when I was gone for 9
weeks. 1994 I got a whole 2 weeks off. Since that time -- zero.
I then answer questions on this list HELP-NET, NETTRAIN, and other
lists and sometimes to the newsgroup alt.comp.blind-users.
I then read all my mail from various mailing lists and other postings
to me. I've cut back and now only average a little over 100 a day.
I maintain some 17+ web pages that users are always wanting. Every time
some one asks a question I have to determine whether this will need a
document or not. Hence, the nomime and SLiRP documents that are the
latest.
I try to keep on top of the active servers. Sometimes I find the new
ones or the ones that quit. I receive personal mail telling me about
problems and I investigate. Rarely do I ever see a posting where
somebody on this list has contacted the administrator -- mostly I see
postings that say "Is such and such still dead?" I always send a E-mail
to the location and ask personally. We had an almost 4-month run
around with Reference.com -- but I'm the only one that wrote to the
administrator.
I also try to maintain the search engine FAQs on my FTP site. 13 have
been completely redone for 1999.
I just set up an autoresponder to retrieve documents but have a few
problems with Procmail regexp. Anybody say thanks? Nope. But I sure get
requests for more...
I maintain the ACCMAIL FAQ and added all these documents to my
autoresponder. I have to keep tuning procmail to eliminate spam and
ill-formed requests. The amount of bad requests is absolutely
unbelievable. How so many people can screw up a simple "send <filename"
on a Subject line is truly outrageous.
Then I get list members moaning and groaning about truncated digests.
Again, who finally figured it out? Anyone on this list other than me?
Nope. I only had help from one person.
And I do all this for "free" -- I don't get paid for any of it. And
then I get requests to do more!
