Subject: Gophermail does NOT work... FOR ME !!! :)

Sorry, but even after reading both:

http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/1236/howto1.html
http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/1236/gophelp.html

I still canNOT receive binary files from gopher servers.
I guess my confusion is how to fill "Path" and "Host" fields.
Perhaps anyone can help me.
I'm trying to get "getrt333.exe" from
http://tucows.ciudad.com.ar/files/getrt333.exe .

"Eunet.cz" returned me the following "uuencoded" error message
(attached) saying:

  0'ttp://tucows.ciudad.com.ar/files/getrt333.exe' does not exist!!
error.host        1
  .

The second request gave similar results.

And my requests were the following:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 BODY:
How should I fill the body message to receive a binary file chopped in
250K pieces?
TIA
Subject: Acrobat Reader ?
Dear everybody,
I do appreciate for all your instructions about the "Happy99.exe" virus. I and
my friends learnt a lot of things from them.
Now, I have another question: (Sorry in advance, if my question is on off-topic)
I have some files in .pdf format. To view them, I must have Acrobat Reader set
up in the computer.
I know It's a freeware which can be downloaded from adobe's website at
http://www.adobe.com
Unfortunately, I do not have any Internet account to get it directly.
So, Would you tell me the exact path to this software in this website so that I
can get it indirectly via email ?
Thanks in advance
Subject: some problems to get missed digests
Hello,
 I have been registered in both ACC an Helpnet along a few past months .
 I learned many valuable things from some wonderful persons.
 Now I have lost digests of both lists contained 26 to 27 and 27 to 28 of
feb.I tried to get them with no success:
> GETPOST HELPNET LOG9902D LOG OWN 195,990 1999-2-28 18:16:19
 As probably you know, I got "invalid ...". Wath's wrong?
 I must add that yesterday I received a singel mail from helpnet, (I get
digests) with foolish contents. I forwarded it to list and asked about ;
but today I didn't it on list.
 As it seems I must learn more with kindly help of geeks.
 Thanks in advance
Is there a keyword for the body of the mesage that can be used in a "mailto:" URL?
The only one I know is the keyword "subject" that can be used in this form:
mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=text
What other keywords are available?
This is because I want to create a shortcut on my desktop that when I click
automatically creates an initial mail message for a
specific person with a specific subject and an initial message that I can modify.
Subject: W4 server - spliting *.LZH binary files
Hello ACCmailers,
can anybody please help me with the solving of following:
I have a bad problem with the downloading larger archive file created
in Lharc compress method, also known like LZH.
Because the file is about 1,2MB, I have used xget command to
W4 mail server.
As everybody know, files larger than 300kB are divided into parts and
MIME encoded.
Firstly I have to claim that I am familiar with the e.g. ftpmail commands
and know how to put Mime or UUE parts into ASCII text editor, create
one big file and then provide decoding.
But this is different problem with W4 mailserver managing archives:
now I have got 5 mail with parts, but they are not parts of MIME encoded
archive, but *.LZH archive was firstly divided and then encoded.
I am not able to put parts together at all. I have been trying to decode
every part separately, then join; or firstly join Mime text and then decode;
without any result.
Is it possible that W4mail server cannot recognize LZH binary file??!!
Have you anybody better experience. or can you give some advice, which
mail server is able to transfer bigger *.LZH archives.
Thank you for your opinions very much.
You have so many errors I don't know where to begin.
1) http://tucows.ciudad.com.ar doesn't exist at least not in North America
2) http://www.headlightsoftware.com has a Portugues files as:
http://www.headlightsoftware.com/gr_br331.exe
3) My help files show:
#        [use as separator if you want more that one file retrieval]
Split=0  [use 0 if you want to receive one large file - default is 27Kb]
Name=    [Subject title that you want returned in your E-mail message]
Type=9   [9 for binary, 0 for text file]
Port=80  [default port for WWW pages]
Path=GET [path and name of binary or large text file]
Host=    [www site name without the http://]
You used the wrong Port,  the wrong Host=,  the wrong Path=, and you
also added the Menu= command.
If the files where at these sites and the sites were correct, then your
commands should look like:
TO: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
BODY:
Split=250K
#
Name=getrt333.exe
Type=9
Port=80
Path=GET /files/getrt333.exe
Host=tucows.ciudad.com.ar
#
Name=getrt333.exe
Type=9
Port=80
Path=GET /getrt333.exe
Host=www.headlightsoftware.com
You can send multiple requests in one E-mail message as long as each is
spearated by the "#" sign.
Obvioulsy you really didn't read howto1.html because none of the errors
you made are shown in my web page....
The files you may want are at:
http://tucows.digital.net/files/getrt333.exe (English)
http://www.headlightsoftware.com/gr_331.exe (Portuguese)
