Accmailers,
Found out what happened to our Cuban accmail addresses.
================================================
Dear Sirs:
We were all affected by a temporal "blackout" in our national
Internet host during the first days of this week. Seems that we're
back again.
Thanks for your concern.

It'll help me browse through dozens of accmail issue easier !

Subject: Help required for InterBot
Hi!
I used InterBot for searching WWW, searching files for FTP etc via email.
Now when I upgraded to Win 98 (from Win 95) I find that the Service Files
of InterBot don't work - that is, while the email addressing etc is OK, the
body is left blank. I, therefore, downloaded another copy of ibl.exe (the
InterBot program), re-installed it, but with similar results. The Service
Files themselves look OK to me.
This was a wonderful program but now it has stopped working except for
those Service files which only need the To: and Subject: lines. Is it a
problem with Win 98 or is there a Win-98 compatible version of InterBot
that I need to use? Where does one get up-dated service files? (I have
never really got an answer to that last question!)
If anyone has used InterBot and knows what is the problem, please advise at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] Any help will be appreciated.

For the biased opinions I have a list of

In January BBC Education demonstrated a new program they
have written called 'Betsie'. It takes a Web page and
formats it so that it will work with screen readers -
including moving the navigation bar (the list of links
at the side of the page) to the bottom. It does a great
job.
Now Betsie has been released for Website adminstrators
to use for themselves ... Anyone who uses a screen
reader is invited to try it out ... you can look at the
BBC Betsie site now
http://www.bbc.co.uk/education/betsie/
And if you run your own site, consider using it too!

Among smart engines available now are those which go through

Well I don't know why you want to subscribe to this service, but I'm
not going to bother trying to get the syntax for e-mail only use. This
site requires prior registration. The page you show is the sign-on page
if you are already registered. If it will work by e-mail methods you
should retrieve in Getweb format.
The registration page is here (one very long URL...):
http://sar.classifiedwarehouse.com/cgi-bin/adhound?T=7&P=2&D=&Q=&NEWS=&w
=&rg=META_ALL&cat=&LC=
The page you mentioned has this to say:
Thank you for selecting an advanced feature of the
Classified
Warehouse Web site. To continue, please register.
It's quick,
easy, confidential, and free.
Registering will allow you to:
Use value-added services such as AdHound
Enter into drawings for prizes
Receive e-mails regarding special site events
and new

Receive targeted, FREE promotional offers from
Classified Warehouse advertisers

This is an option for you the user, not the list.
You can recieve digests either in MIME format (as an attachment) or as
plain text (NOMIME)
So you should change your subscription options by sending e-mail:
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subject: [leave blank]
Body of the message
SET NOMIME
If you saved and read your subscription message, you would see this:
Following instructions from the list owner, your subscription options
have been set to "DIGESTS NOACK REPRO NOCONCEAL" rather than the usual
LISTSERV defaults. For more information about subscription options, send
a "QUERY ACCMAIL" command to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[snip]
More information on LISTSERV commands can be found in the LISTSERV
reference card, which you can retrieve by sending an "INFO REFCARD"
command to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I only have problems with unganisha www4mail server and the Healthnet
getweb site.
The other 2 www4mail servers are almost instantaneous for me...
What problems you could be having I couldn't even begin to guess at.
Did you try a really simple request like?
send
<http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/1236/servers.html>http://www.geocities
.com/CapitolHill/1236/servers.html
========= END QUOTED MSG ===============
Yes, Gerry,
I've tried the simplest of the requests I could, but nothing. I even tried to
get my weekly quota and the help file but still no hints of life.
I mean, if ever I did some syntax errors or things like that I would be
getting
at least error messages back (though it's been a lifetime that I've used the
same syntax and once it worked perfectly).
For every request I made till 1 month ago I was always notified at least about
my quota, if files turned out to be not found or unaccessible.
My email software seems to be working good as it used to.
A little thought is crawling somewhere in my mind though, could I have been
put
in sort of a "bad-user" list, kind of banning me access forever? I dunno if
that's likely, though I have never tried to access porno stuff or something
for
example. Nor have I received any communication about that of course.
Thanks for answering, keep guessing though, I need your help bad.

This has been suggested in the past. The only valid reason NOT to do
this, that I can think of, is that many may already have it. The fact
that instructions on getting it appear at the bottom of individual
messages or below the Table Of Contents in digests, appears not to
deflect these questions.
Perhaps if some one posts the following in 8 lines per word format: Read
The FAQ!

If you are using Lynx on a Unix account, then when a binary file is
encountered Lynx will ask the user if they wish to download the file or
cancel. If the user selects 'D' for download, Lynx will transfer the
file into a temporary location and present the user with a list of
options. The only default option is "save file to disk", which is
disabled if Lynx is running in anonymous mode.
After saving the file, use the Unix command "uuencode [ source-file ] "
Then use zmodem, or Kermit, or ftp to download to your PC.
