Its URL is: http://www.bigfoot.com/ If you wish a longer list of such services, use the Yahoo directory service. Its URL is: http://www.yahoo.com Use the phrase "free e-mail" as your keywords, and then simply select from the rather long list for forwarding services. I received 2 emails, totalling 12 kb in size, in MIME format (argh!). After decoding them I ended up with the file I wanted (1.3 kb), in which the German umlauts were not rendered properly (argh again), plus a GIF graphic (5 kb) advertising Dell Computers. This "service" seems to be little more than a vehicle for unsolicited advertising. Just a theoretical approach? :)= Dear, Using some other agoras or web4mail servers, .org and .net addresses can be accessed too, but [EMAIL PROTECTED] doesn't accept these addresses. They have a number of address available and they seem to work pretty well. A few days ago I forwarded some mail from one of my other address to my address with netforward and it bounced "user unknown" However it would appear to have been only a temporary glitch and mail is now getting through OK. The only advertising you get is one-line ad for themselves at the top of each message. I actually like this because it distinguishes mail sent to that address from mail sent to my other addresses without my having to check the headers and it isn't obtrusive. This addresses has so far attracted very little spam as opposed to some other addresses. Whether you can sign up to it by accmail methods or not though I cannot say. Downloadslave is intended to get large files for users having bad connection rates, as the ping to your IPSs mailbox is better than to server xyz.com. This is what it has been build up for, for ZIP and co, not as www4mail or getweb! I use it often for downloads of 5-11 MB and it works great! ~ o/ David Kramer \o , Take care! ~ ## CrossPoint v3.11 ## *lol* DOS :)= -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 6.0.2ckt for YOUR privacy :)= Comment: KeyID: 0x73D62D41 Comment: Fingerprint: 69C0 50A1 C96A FF3F 3F09 6E91 F9B8 B727 iQEVAwUBN2KcLQt4MvNz1i1BAQHj4ggAoxllw1ithBBjuh67sKrwvtDKx1G+rODu tuHKtp/x6SrmBxQkKMZGpqV6KzaRc9DArx1NcVu/rFyVc2d8pHaPyP6VSzq9K63s 1lnxsPhS0RsfETsnRv1SZ9DdRonN/EyHaRweI9h1SYLY5uFUizEqL9rYK2Ul+cnh Qtse72JoF0IviEV8TtnirsGa1oAlDmlZup41ug66Ymug3uZGEOpGigKRZ3boDFQA l1Kw83C871ZJlrGvXmGLhT6jZXbg29iitZtVZBg+RckbNcx0XKBBatA0Sqne8Ot1 5kUnn6UN9+Y3S76C/+M6sSUDsvUslWm2p4ks0JkNp0OyXp6MCMWm7g== =2e+E -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- ~ Johannes Posel ~ [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~ ~ Homepage @ http://posel.home.pages.de ~ ~ Reality always seems harsher in the early morning ~ ~ Made in W-Germany, content includes 100 percent electrons ~ ------------------------------ End of ACCMAIL Digest - 11 Jun 1999 to 12 Jun 1999 (#1999-164) **************************************************************
