Subject: Mr Cool - Can it be customised to suit our requests ?

Dear Accmailers

I have downloaded Mr Cool version 1.8.1.88 from the website. It is really
a cool programe but with some limitations. Could anyone tell me a
workabout for these following probs :

(1) Adding Server :
I cannot add a server in the list provided. Suppose I have a download
slave account and I need some big file to be downloaded can I add the
server in the list and include my password too?

(2) Special commands:
While requesting web pages from www4 servers, we can include special
functions like XJSDUMP and XIMAGE. The provision for inclusion of these
special functions are not there. Can these also be incorporated in
the request ?

(3) If I am asking these questions very long after these problems have
been sorted out, please pardon me and kindly let me know the place
where the latest version is available.

Thanks in advance.
Bye

Azeem.

Hello!
My question deals with the WWW_by_E-Mail.
I want to receive the web-page and I know its URL.
I send the request to a mail-server and receive the answer with next lines
in the body of the message:
> This site requires a frame-capable browser,
> such as Netscape Navigator or MS Explorer.
How I can find the real URL of a web-pages likely this?
Can I do it without the details knowledge about the html-specification?
Thank to all, Serg N. K. with best wishes.

General answer for all accmailers. If you are unable to unsubscribe the
old address before subscribing the new address, then just send email to
me requesting that I unsubscribe the old address. Indicate which
address you want unsubscribed so I don't accidentally unsubsribe the
wrong one (:>)

Each listserv mailing list you are subscribed to has there own server
and local files that may be avaible for memebers to download. To get a
list of files that are available at AOL listserve (which includes
Accmail as well as other mailing lists), send email as follows:

To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subject: [leave blank]
Body of message:
INDEX

This will send back a list of all files available at this site. After
receiving this, you can get the ones you want with a GET fn ft
<filelis> command.

The return listing will have these instructiuons:
* The GET/PUT authorization codes shown with each file entry describe
* who is authorized to GET or PUT the file:
*
*     ALL = Everybody
*     CTL = LISTSERV administrators
*     OWN = List owners
* PRV = Private, ie list members
* LMC = LISTSERV master coordinator
* N/A = Not applicable - file is internally maintained by LISTSERV
* MSC = Miscellaneous - contact administrator for more information

Some but not all you can GET.

Accmailers,

I received a message from Downloadslave and just did a plain German to
English translation using Babelfish
(http://babelfish.altavista.com/cgi-bin/translate?) I didn't try to
clean up the English to be more understandable but just left it as is.
