Hello All: I haven't been following this thread closely, but I had a similar problem a year ago. I wanted to send email in Russian to a penpal but at the time my email was text-only and my friend received gibberish at his end.
The solution: 1) I composed the message offline and ZIPed it. 2) Then attached it to a email as a file attachment This may not be what the person wanted but it worked for me. All the receiving end has to do is unzip the attachment and read the message in a suitable word processor.
