I started out on the 'net much like Richard did--thru a Fidonet BBS
system that had an "Internet E-Mail" Conference (kinda like a
newsgroup). No direct TCP/IP connections so he's not able to POP his
Yahoo! email--and likewise couldn't do that with a Gmail account.

But you're on the right track. I no longer "surf the 'net on a
two-by-four" (my analogy for ACCMAILing) so I checked the features of
Yahoo! Mail Plus, the $19.99 (USD) per year service you're mentioning.
It includes mail forwarding; the ability to have his Yahoo! mail
forwarded to his BBS email address. He will probably need to borrow
browser access again to set that up, however. (If I have TCP/IP
Internet access, why am I on the ACCMAIL list? Nostalgia in part, plus
keeping up to date for those occasional tasks that STILL may need to
be accomplished by ACCMAIL methods.)

Alternatively to that, he's looking for a script that he could send to
www4mail that would access his Yahoo! mail account, retrieve his
messages and send them to his BBS email account. I think that's what
he was originally asking for.

I remember the days when people did incredibly ingenious things on
websites thru ACCMAIL methods. Are any of those folks still here?
