Ace consists of many, rather small, decoupled artifacts.
Offering maven profiles eases full builds (and tests) for one of the subsystems
(server,gateway,common,client etc.) .
Also, some IDEs like IntelliJ offer fiiltering of subprojects based on maven
profiles. (i am sure M2Eclipse could do similar things), too.
