Marcel Offermans commented on ACE-202: -------------------------------------- The management agent internally consists of a couple of bundles. One of them is a bundle that provides an Identification service. By implementing a different bundle that provides this Identification service, you can implement your own strategy and (in this case) read the target ID from the "karaf.name" property. The ace-managementagent bundle is nothing more than a wrapper around those individual bundles that makes a self-contained management agent and allows you to specify some configuration via system properties. If you create a different identification bundle, you can also create a different "wrapper bundle" that uses it and make that part of the "karaf support" bundles of ACE. > Use karaf.name property as target ID > ------------------------------------ > > Key: ACE-202 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACE-202 > Project: Ace > Issue Type: Improvement > Reporter: Jean-Baptiste Onofré > Assignee: Jean-Baptiste Onofré > > When installing ACE agent in a Karaf instance (using features:install > ace-agent), the target ID is "always" configuredGatewayID. > It would be easier for the users that the ACE agent could use the karaf.name > property. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
