Is the concern the computation or the transmission time?  Even if you
have to fragment packets I would expect transmission time to be well
fast enough that computation is the major issue?
[AS] This is just cumulative. Adding a second multicast packet increases the 
transmission time by a few 10s of milliseconds depending on the number of hops. 
You are right that if we use asymmetric crypto then this contribution is still 
smaller than the crypto computation time. We will try to provide some tentative 
numbers in the talk today.
