Add method: public void destroy() throws Exception { manager.removeCache("ehCacheBasedTicketCache"); } Add the DisposableBean interface to the class declaration: import org.springframework.beans.factory.DisposableBean; public class EhCacheBasedTicketCache implements StatelessTicketCache, InitializingBean, DisposableBean { Please let me know how it goes.
