Just thought I'd let anyone who is interested know that I checked a much updated version of the LDAP PasswordDao into the sandbox. Included are a good number of comments that should help out as to the usage - needed as I ended up changing most of the way that it is configured. Initial trials work for me, but no promises. I have downloaded the Apache DS 0.8 release and hopefully can get it setup as base agaist which to run portable tests against.
