I'm trying to check out and try ACEGI for the first time, but CVS is
broken and I can't complete the checkout. Following the instructions
for checking out via maven, or using the instructions for an
anonymous CVS checkout (cutting and pasting the commands to be safe),
CVS fails:
cvs checkout: Updating acegisecurity/adapters/cas/src/main/java/org
cvs checkout: failed to create lock directory for `/cvsroot/
acegisecurity/acegisecurity/adapters/cas/src/main/java/org' (/cvsroot/
acegisecurity/acegisecurity/adapters/cas/src/main/java/org/
#cvs.lock): Permission denied
cvs checkout: failed to obtain dir lock in repository `/cvsroot/
acegisecurity/acegisecurity/adapters/cas/src/main/java/org'
cvs [checkout aborted]: read lock failed - giving up
From the looks of the nightly snapshots page, this problem started
