Hi all, I just bought the 13.3 inch version, Core Solo. I would like to tell you that installation instructions for karmic (amd64 daily 21/06/2009) still needs "libata.noacpi=1" workaround but not downloading and building of atl1c driver.
This beacause it was introduced (and patched) in 2.6.29. So I simply modprobed it and it worked. I still have some problems on getting wlan0 to work, but maybe because I was trying kubuntu's network manager.. in fact I'm mainly a debian user/developer and I'm not too confortable with those "I hide all, please relax" GUI :-) I'll try the low level config and I'll report if it does not work.
