My Audio stopped working the morning after waking from hibernation.

I just tested hibernating and starting up again and it's working fine, so it
doesn't look like it happens all the time. If it does happen again, where's
the best place to troubleshoot the problem - /var/log/messages, syslog,
dmesg?
