By the way, I did an update last evening with Synaptic and after that, my desktop became nut: gnome-panel was blinking, I lose all my icons, etc. I first tried to disable my beautiful theme, wild-shine, but it didn't do the trick :( Thus, I decided to go to bed. Good idea: this morning, after a new upgrade, everything was alright.
