Hi, I've had no trouble untarring and building the ethernet driver in 9.04 x86_64 and the default kernel, but since manually updating the kernel and headers to 2.6.30-020630 (from the STR section in the Fixes wiki), the 'make' step fails. I wasn't smart enough to copy the errors before rebooting with the old kernel to send this email. Anybody seen this and have a fix? Or do I need to reboot and get the actual message to start troubleshooting this?
As an aside, I have added atl1e to /etc/modules and I don't remember why, perhaps it doesn't load automatically on boot? When booting into the newer kernel, lsmod shows that atl1e is loaded, despite the build having failed, and no eth0 interface shows up. db _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~acertimeline Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~acertimeline More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
