Actually, you SHOULD use that construction of a draft name. You SHOULD NOT use (and will be actively prevented from using, unless a WG chair is asleep at the wheel) draft-ietf-acme-**, as that is reserved for adopted WG documents. Many of us submit their initial submissions as draft-<lastname>-<wgname>-** documents, as this is the convention that makes such submissions east to find. But you really should actively get a discussion going on the WG mailing list after the initial submission.
