In `make menuconfig' you can search for config items. Do "/pnpbios". It says:
Symbol: PNPBIOS [=y]
Prompt: Plug and Play BIOS support (EXPERIMENTAL)
Defined at drivers/pnp/pnpbios/Kconfig:4
Depends on: PNP && ISA && X86 && EXPERIMENTAL
Location:
-> Device Drivers
-> Plug and Play support
-> Plug and Play support (PNP [=y])
So it needs PNP && ISA && X86 && EXPERIMENTAL
