------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-01-13 07:07 ------- Could I please ask one of our kernel experts, explain what is really the problem and why only with certain ATI cards. I posted this error in Feb/March of 2005 and we are still having this problem. No offense I do not want any of the good people that put so much effort in helping us be offended. I just want to understand the complication that has us still waiting for a fix. It seems to me we are doing lots of trial and error. rather than finding the root cause of the issue and solve it. Perhaps there must be a bug fix from ATI and it has nothing to do with the Kernel? Again, can someone explain me why this happens and why it is so difficult to resolve it? I have a computer science degree and I can digest the technical explenation if you wish.
