At the moment i have 4 different Kernels running on my system. But now it come the extremely mysterioese on it, please believe me, I have no drinking beer wine or drugs. If i want that the power_off works on the last actualy kernel in this example 2.6.15-1.1824_FC4, i need always a additional line or a dummy line in the grub.conf. # grub.conf generated by anaconda # # Note that you do not have to rerun grub after making changes to this file # NOTICE: You do not have a /boot partition. This means that # all kernel and initrd paths are relative to /, eg. # root (hd1,0) # kernel /boot/vmlinuz-version ro root=/dev/hdb1 # initrd /boot/initrd-version.img # boot=/dev/hdb default=0 timeout=25 splashimage=(hd1,0)/boot/grub/splash.xpm.gz hiddenmenu title Fedora Core (dummy line not bootable) root (hd1,0) kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.15-1.1825_FC4 ro root=LABEL=/1 rhgb quiet initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.15-1.1825_FC4.img title Fedora Core (2.6.15-1.1824_FC4) root (hd1,0) kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.15-1.1824_FC4 apm=realmode-power-off ro root=LABEL=/1 rhgb quiet initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.15-1.1824_FC4.img title Fedora Core (2.6.15-1.1823_FC4) root (hd1,0) kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.15-1.1823_FC4 apm=realmode-power-off ro root=LABEL=/1 rhgb quiet initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.15-1.1823_FC4.img title Fedora Core (2.6.14-1.1656_FC4) root (hd1,0) kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.14-1.1656_FC4 ro root=LABEL=/1 rhgb quiet initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.14-1.1656_FC4.img title Fedora Core (2.6.11-1.1369_FC4) root (hd1,0) kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.11-1.1369_FC4 ro root=LABEL=/1 rhgb quiet initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.11-1.1369_FC4.img title Windows2000 rootnoverify (hd0,0) chainloader +1 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
