Summary: 8139too stops working aster ~5 minutes - NETDEV
                    WATCHDOG: eth0: transmit timed out
    Kernel Version: 2.6.14-gentoo-r7
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
             Owner: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
         Submitter: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

[1.] One line summary of the problem:
Network card stops working after <5minutes

[2.] Full description of the problem/report:
i have an asus a6r-b002 notebook and i have problems witch network card.
when a compile kernel witch ACPI support my network card stops working after <5
minutes.
when i either pass kernel parameter "acpi=off" or don't compile acpi support at
all it's ok - network
works fine, but since i'm a notebook user i'd ilke to have acpi support.

it doesnt matter if i have network card compiled as module (8139too) or with
any of
options for 8139too module

moreover i have to have
[*] Local APIC support on uniprocessors
  [*] IO-APIC support on uniprocessors
or else i get something like that:
"hdc: lost interrupt" and my computer(kernel during bootup) keeps printing
"hdc: lost interrupt"
