------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-02-28 06:49 ------- Hi, Here are a few more datapoints for the bug: The problem starts with linux 2.6.4, which is probably of little help to you, as the 2.6.4 changelog talks about a complete rewrite of the e100 driver. What happens exactly is, that during reboot the driver leaves the network hardware in a non-quiet state, and may raise interrupts. If then, while booting, another driver (uhci-hcd here) loads which shares the IRQ line (11 here) with the EtherExpress PRO/100 cards, its interrupt routine will of course not handle the irq and the "nobody cared" message follows.
