Same problem for me. My system :
Acer aspire 1654WLMi notebook
FC5, kernel 2.6.16-1.2080_FC5
The boot freezes during udev initialization, it
doesn't save /var/log/messages or /var/log/dmesg,
and I don't know how to obtain them. The displayed
error message is
