------- Comment #6 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-04-07 23:10 MST ------- the BETA9 CD fails to boot on the clevo without explicit "apic" just like it did in BETA8: ../sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1f:1/ide0.0/bus failed it is installing right now with "apic" and has rebooted into the installed kernel, 2.6.16-8-smp Mar 28. While this is newer than beta8's 2.6.16-rc6-git1-4-smp of Mar 14, maybe it isn't new enough...
