Software Environment:
Problem Description:

on boot, system hangs very early, last line is:
ACPI: Assume root bridge [\_SB_.PCI0] bus is 0

tried some acpi boot params but went nowhere.
tried some dgb_level, but seems impossible to catch msgs as it seems the
problem is a loop, hence same msgs get printed too fast to anything but that
they look like a repeated pattern. CPU gets hot, if left in this state.
With acpi=off system hangs early on boot as well, at 'probing PCI ...'
