[EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |acpi- | |[EMAIL PROTECTED] | |et Component|Other |Power-Off ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-04-26 19:29 ------- So this works if you drop the old (ACPI-enabled) 2.6.13 kernel onto the failing system? Clearly X is changing some state that is confusing the AML that is executed on the way down, and apparently the BIOS AML is not ready for it. Any chance you can update your DSDT per Bob's comments to see if it gets any further? Alternatively, you could enable CONFIG_ACPI_DEBUG=y and right before your shutdown you can enable acpi_dbg_layer and acpi_dbg_level via /proc/acpi (enable all the bits and kick off the shutdown, it will be verbose, but you should get the last thing run at the end of the console log). ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
