Summary: USB 2.0 high speed mode (ehci_hcd module) won't work without acpi=noirq Kernel Version: 2.6.16.18 Status: NEW Severity: normal Owner: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Submitter: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Most recent kernel where this bug did not occur: None that I tested Distribution: Kubuntu Breezy Hardware Environment: Epox KT400A motherboard (VT8377 VT8277) Software Environment: kernel 2.6.12.6 and 2.6.16.18 both affected Problem Description: USB 2.0 high speed mode (ehci_hcd module) won't work because ACPI IRQ routing messes things up. Booting with acpi=noirq works around the bug. Before and after dmesg logs below. dmesg (buggy) ============= PI: PCI Root Bridge [PCI0] (0000:00) PCI: Probing PCI hardware (bus 00) ACPI: Assume root bridge [\_SB_.PCI0] bus is 0 Boot video device is 0000:01:00.0 ACPI: PCI Interrupt Routing Table [\_SB_.PCI0._PRT] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKA] (IRQs 3 4 6 7 *10 11 12) ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKB] (IRQs 3 4 6 7 10 *11 12) ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKC] (IRQs 3 4 6 7 10 11 12) *5 ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKD] (IRQs 3 4 6 7 10 *11 12) ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKE] (IRQs 3 4 6 7 10 11 12) *0, disabled.
