My problem has changed a bit. I somehow don´t get complete hangs at boot time
anymore. Reason unknown. The machine still hangs after a few seconds after X
came up. I have NVidia drivers (not the NV ones) installed and I am using NDIS
Wrapper for my BCM4311. Somehow if I disable NDIS Wrapper the hangs stop. No
wireless for me with 2.6.19. The native BCM43xx doesn´t work for me.
This happens both with and without the nosmp option.
I use noapic in both situations.
