------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-12-19 02:43 ------- The symptoms of "bad state": - Boot slowdown (the BIOS takes up to 20 seconds to make POST); - Kernel slowdown during boot (you can compare dmesg I attached); - Battery and AC Adapter status (read from /proc/acpi/battery) are not updated after boot.
