------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2007-01-23 08:43 ------- I noticed another effect with 2.6.20-rc5 with Rafael's patches: often (but not always) the fan keeps running at a low speed and never turns off. If this happens, the only way I've found to turn it off is to run something very cpu-intensive that brings the temperature up above 57 degrees (the first trip point). If I do that, the fan keeps running until the computer cools down to 50 degrees and then the fan turns off. This is on an nx6125 running the latest BIOS F.11. I do *not* have the "Fan always on when on AC" BIOS option turned on. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
