------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2007-02-22 10:37 ------- Created an attachment (id=10498) --> (http://bugzilla.kernel.org/attachment.cgi?id=10498&action=view) Don't use bogus _PSC method in fan device bad news: your BIOS is broken -- it says that your fan is always on regardless of its real state (via _PSC object). good news: there are control methods to turn it off/on, so if fan driver ignores _PSC, you should be able to control fan. Patch does exactly this, tells ACPI, that you are not interested in value of _PSC and want direct control... Please try. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
